Motorola is rapidly developing its new flagship smartphone, and now key details about its processor and performance have emerged. According to reports, the company will launch this phone in China as the Moto X70 Ultra, while in the global market it will be launched as the Motorola Edge 70 Ultra. It is expected to launch in China by the end of 2025 and then globally in the first half of 2026.

Motorola Edge 70 Ultra Spotted on Geekbench

The device recently appeared in the Geekbench database, where its model number is listed as XT2603-1. This model number specifically refers to the Chinese variant. The listing reveals that the phone will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset—considered to be Qualcomm's most powerful upcoming series. 

It features two high-performance cores clocked at 3.65 GHz and six efficiency cores clocked at 3.32 GHz. For graphics, it has been given an Adreno 829 GPU, which will provide a smooth experience in both gaming and multitasking.

Talking about Geekbench scores, the Moto X70 Ultra has achieved 2634 points in the single-core test and 7475 points in the multi-core test. These scores show that the performance of the phone is going to be top-class.

This device runs on Android 16 and has 16 GB of RAM, which can make it a good option for both power users and performance-focused users. Design and display details have not been leaked yet, but according to reports, it may have a 1.5K OLED panel and periscope telephoto camera.
