Honor has finally unveiled its long-rumored Robot Phone to the public for the first time. It's no longer just a futuristic concept but a device that people can truly admire. Honor's R&D engineers showcased it at the 2025 Honor User Carnival, where its design, camera system, and AI features garnered the most attention.
The most striking feature of this phone is its mechanical gimbal main camera, which folds into two layers at the back. From the front, the design appears somewhat similar to the iPhone 17 Pro series, but the difference lies in the technology embedded within.
With a single click, this small robotic arm rises, and the phone automatically sets the framing, tracks the subject, and stabilizes the video—without any gimbal or external accessories. It's as if the phone itself has become a tiny cameraman.

Honor hasn't designed this to be just a camera-centric device. The company says that this smartphone is a bridge between "digital intelligence and physical reality." It is powered by Honor's on-device YOYO AI model,
which not only understands commands but can also sense user emotions, adjust itself based on behavior, and offer suggestions when needed. This means that the phone doesn't just respond; it often takes the initiative to act as a personal assistant or companion.
Honor envisions a future where smartphones are mobile robots that understand you, walk with you, and capture moments of your life without you telling them. The commercial version of this robot phone is expected to be launched globally in 2026.
