Realme GT8 Pro Launched– Reinventing Mobile Photography With Ricoh GR Mode

Realme recently announced its official partnership with Ricoh Imaging, marking a new chapter in the world of mobile photography. The first result of this collaboration is the Realme GT8 Pro, which will be the first smartphone to feature Ricoh GR Mode.

The phone's design features attention to detail with a premium finish. The camera module uses a Ricoh GR Optical Certification-certified lens, bringing the quality of professional cameras to smartphones. Featuring a 7-element lens and a five-layer Ultra Low Reflective coating, it significantly reduces glare and reflections. Additionally, the dual-layer AR coating ensures up to 97% light transmission.

The Realme GT8 Pro features Ricoh's classic 28mm and 40mm focal length modes. The 28mm, called "Humanist Eye," provides a more natural and detailed frame, while the 40mm, known as "Observer's Eye," focuses on subject expression and details. Additionally, the phone's Hidden Focal Length feature allows for shooting at 35 mm and 50 mm.

To further enhance the photography experience, it adds Ricoh GR Mode, which includes features like Classic GR Interface, Snap Focus, and Immersive Viewfinder. Additionally, it features five Ricoh GR accent tones—Positive Film, Negative Film, High Contrast B&W, Standard, and Monochrome—to add a distinct atmosphere and depth to photos.

The phone's two distinctive color options, Ricoh Blue and Ricoh Green, further enhance its design. The company hasn't yet officially announced pricing, but it's expected to be available in the upper segment of Realme's premium GT series.
