First, in terms of design, the Edge 70 appears to be slightly different from the previous generation. While the Edge 60 series featured a curved display and rounded corners, the new Edge 70 features flat sides and a flat screen. It features a punch-hole camera on the front and a triple camera setup on the back.

Notably, this time the camera rings and Moto AI key come with a color accent finish, making the look more premium.

The renders show the phone in two new colors: Lily Pad and Gadget Gray. The company will also launch Bronze Green and other color variants. Motorola and Pantone's partnership continues here, and its impact is clearly visible in these color choices.

The side profile is slim, and the button placement is balanced. The SIM slot, USB Type-C port, and speaker grilles are located at the bottom, while the Dolby Atmos branding is located at the top.

Motorola has already updated the Edge 60 Pro and Edge 50 Fusion with Android 16, so it's expected that the Edge 70 will also run on Android 16 out-of-the-box. This clearly indicates that the phone will remain up-to-date at the software level as well.
