According to recent reports, the company has begun work on a new project codenamed "M Plus," which is linked to the upcoming Galaxy S26+ model. Samsung made this decision because sales of the Galaxy S25 Edge were significantly lower than expected.

Why was the Galaxy S26+ Project initiated?
Korean media reports indicate that Samsung placed a lot of faith in the S25 Edge, but its market demand wasn't as strong as the company had hoped. Meanwhile, the upcoming iPhone Air hasn't received a positive response. Consequently, Samsung has planned to immediately focus on the next-generation phone, the Galaxy S26+.
