Huawei is preparing to update its Mate series once again. Recent leaks suggest that the company recently introduced its new Huawei Mate80 Series, codenamed Voyager and Sagittarius. The launch event for this series is reportedly expected to take place around November.
The new lineup will include two main models—the VYG Standard Version and the SGT Pro Version. The VYG variant will support 66W fast wired charging, while the SGT Pro model will offer 100W wired charging. This means users will experience a better experience in both battery life and charging speed.
In terms of design, the camera setup in the Mate80 series has been uniquely designed. According to leaked information, a large circular camera module will be seen in the center of the back panel.
Additionally, a dual-color-temperature strip flash can be provided on the left side and a symmetrical strip sensor on the right side. The phone also includes a multi-spectral lens, which will further enhance the photography experience.
This series is also expected to be unique in terms of camera hardware. According to reports, Huawei is focusing more on color accuracy and low-light performance this time around. Furthermore, the phone's display and build quality will also feature a premium touch.
As for the launch, the company hasn't officially announced a date, but it's expected to be launched in November. No concrete information has been revealed regarding pricing, but the Mate series has always been in the premium segment, so the Mate 80 series is likely to be available in the same range.
