Realme launched its flagship smartphone, the Realme GT 8 Pro, in China just a few days ago, and now the company is all set to launch it in India. The launch date has been officially confirmed—November 20, 2025, at 12:00 PM (IST). The phone will be sold in India through Flipkart and Realme's official website.
According to a European report, the Realme GT 8 Pro is expected to start at around ₹65,000. Its starting price in Europe is reported to be ₹1,099, which translates to around ₹98,000. However, its price in the Indian market is expected to be slightly lower.
Now let's talk about its biggest highlight—the camera system. The Realme GT 8 Pro uses Ricoh GR Imaging Technology for the first time. This technology makes the photography experience more professional. It will have features like Fast Shutter Sound, Snap Mode (Quick Capture), and Viewfinder Mode (Composition Focus) under Ricoh GR mode.
This phone has a triple rear camera setup—
50MP Sony LYT-808 main sensor (f/1.6, OIS), which delivers 30% better performance in low light.
50MP Samsung JN5 ultrawide lens (120° FOV).
200MP Samsung HP5 telephoto lens (3x optical zoom, 13.2x lossless zoom).
On the front, there's a 32MP camera that's ideal for selfies and video calls. For video recording, the phone supports up to 4K at 120 fps and 8K at 30 fps.
The most unique feature of the Realme GT 8 Pro is its interchangeable camera island design. This means you can change the design of its camera module yourself. The company is offering three designs—square, round, and robot-themed—which can be easily swapped with a magnetic attachment.
Speaking of performance, the phone is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor. It will have a 6.79-inch LTPO AMOLED 2K display, which supports a 144 Hz refresh rate and 7000 nits peak brightness. The battery will be 7000 mAh and will come with 120 W fast charging.
The phone will be offered in two color options—Dairy White and Urban Blue. In terms of design, camera, and performance, the Realme GT 8 Pro is considered to be one of the company's most advanced flagship phones to date.
