The OPPO Find X9 is set to launch in India very soon, on November 18th at 12 noon. This time, the company has introduced several new upgrades to its flagship phone—such as a larger battery, a faster processor, and an improved camera system.
The changes compared to the Find X8 are quite interesting, and they suggest that OPPO has created a strong contender in the premium segment.
The 12GB RAM + 256GB storage variant of the Find X9 will be available in India for ₹74,999. This price is slightly higher than the ₹69,999 price of the Find X8, but considering the upgrades, it is considered value for money.
Design and Display
The design of the Find X9 is crafted from premium materials. It features a 6.59-inch flat AMOLED display with a 1.5K resolution and a 120 Hz refresh rate. Its brightness reaches 3600 nits, providing excellent outdoor visibility. The phone is 7.85 mm thick and weighs 195 grams—slightly thicker than the Find X8, but it feels light in the hand.
This time, OPPO has added an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint sensor, which is faster and more secure than the older optical sensor.
Performance and Features
The Find X9 is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9500 chipset, built on a 3nm process. This chip scores over 1.5 million on AnTuTu, meaning smooth performance in both gaming and multitasking. The phone comes with 12GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 256GB of UFS 4.0 storage.
Speaking of battery, this phone comes with a large 7025 mAh battery, which is significantly larger than the Find X8's 5630 mAh. Charging is supported by 80W wired and 50W wireless charging. According to the company, the phone should easily last a day even with heavy use.
Camera and Software
The camera setup also features a major upgrade. This time, it features a 50MP Sony LYT808 main sensor, which is better than the previous LYT700. It also comes with a 50MP ultrawide and 50MP periscope telephoto lens (3.5x optical zoom). The front camera is 32 MP. Hasselblad's color tuning ensures natural and realistic color and detail in photos.
Video recording is supported up to 8K at 30 fps. On the software front, it runs on ColorOS 16 (Android 16), and OPPO has promised 5 years of updates.
Color Options and Price
The phone will be launched in Titanium Grey, Space Black, Silk White, and Titanium Charcoal color options. Its starting price is ₹74,999.
