BlueOS 3 is Vivo's new in-house-developed operating system, written in the full-stack Rust language. This means the system has been designed with security, stability, and performance in mind from start to finish. This new platform won't be limited to smartwatches—it will also be used in smart glasses and other AI devices in the future.
This time, BlueOS 3 is designed with a lightweight and modular architecture. It includes the Blue River Smooth Engine, which increases graphic rendering efficiency by 36% and reduces system resource usage by approximately 60%.
The most significant feature of BlueOS 3 is its full-link AI system. This allows the device to simultaneously process visual, audio, and sensing inputs. It features the Blue River Camera Framework, which improves visual recognition and spatial computing accuracy. Its audio framework also supports multi-voice detection with low latency and noise reduction, providing a fast and smooth user experience.
The Vivo Watch GT2, which will be the first smartwatch to launch with BlueOS 3, will feature Always-On Display (AOD) support and up to 33 days of battery life. Its design features a premium finish and lightweight, making it comfortable to wear for extended periods.
