Design and Display

Both phones feature a 2K 144Hz Canopy Display, which comes with a Straight Screen and BOE Q10+ luminous material. Manual brightness is measured up to 1100 nits, and the screens support a four-finger 360 Hz sampling rate with Synaptics Touch IC. Full brightness DC dimming and low brightness SVM optimization are also present. This means the screens are comfortable on the eyes, and the touch response is very smooth during gaming.

Performance

The GT8 Pro features a Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen5 processor and R1 gaming graphics chip, which supports 2K+120/144 Hz super-resolution and super-frame gaming. For example, playing Genshin Impact in Full HD mode for 30 minutes resulted in an average frame rate of 118.9 FPS and a power consumption of just 5.5 W. In Peace Elite high-resolution mode, the average frame rate was 142.7 FPS.

The GT8 also features a Snapdragon 8E processor and R1 graphics chip. While it features a 50MP telephoto camera, it's still a high-performance smartphone with a display, 7K battery, and 100W fast charging.

Camera and Imaging

The GT8 Pro features a 200MP periscope camera and a Ricoh GR customized main camera. With a 28mm/40mm dual focal length and the HP5's native 65mm focal length, this phone is ready for street photography and super resolution. The ultra-wide camera is also 50MP, and it also supports 10x ISZ and macro close-up.

Battery and Charging

Both phones are equipped with a 7000 mAh battery. The GT8 Pro supports 120W wired and 50W wireless charging, while the GT8 supports 100W wired charging. This means you can comfortably use the phone all day.

Software and User Experience

Both phones run on Realme UI 7.0 and are guaranteed 5 years of system maintenance and 4 major version updates. The GT8 Pro features an ID mechanical assembly design and detachable Deco feature, making it a great choice for DIY and customization enthusiasts.
