OnePlus has officially confirmed that it will launch the new OnePlus Ace 6 alongside the OnePlus 15 on October 27th. This phone's key highlights include its battery and performance, which initial reports have already revealed.
According to information about the OnePlus Ace 6, it features a large 7800mAh battery with support for 120W fast charging. This combination is considered to be the phone's biggest strength.
Battery performance was tested using the Database 5.0 model, where it was tested under various conditions. After three hours of normal use, the battery remained at 72%, while after six hours of heavy use, the battery remained at 19%. In the extreme test, where the screen was constantly on, the phone lasted 7 hours and 33 minutes.
This test was conducted at a 120 Hz refresh rate, indicating that the OnePlus Ace 6's battery life is among the best in its segment.
In terms of charging performance, at a normal temperature of 25°C, the 120W charger charged the battery to 39% in just 10 minutes. It reached a full 100% charge in 42 minutes, and the phone was fully charged in just 51 minutes.
Very few devices currently offer such fast charging with such a large battery. This speed is especially important for users who enjoy gaming or watching content for long periods of time.
The company has also released a video about gaming performance.
In terms of performance, the Snapdragon 8 Extreme Edition chipset features OnePlus' new "Wind Chip Gaming Core." This chip provides excellent gaming stability and supports frame rates of 60, 90, 120, 144, and 165 FPS in mainstream games. Furthermore, it is the only phone that can run dual tasks at full frame rates. GPU performance is also excellent, rendering graphics with PC-level visuals.
The company claims the phone charges up to 50% in just 16 minutes and is capable of 10 hours of continuous full-frame gaming. Even if the battery runs out, just 10 minutes of charging can provide more than 3 hours of gaming. It also features "Bypass Power" and "Between-Game Charging," allowing it to run directly from the power supply while gaming while also charging the battery quickly.
The company has introduced three new color options this time around that balance both style and performance—“Quicksilver,” “Flash White,” and “Competition Black.”
Quicksilver is for those who love to feel the moment of change, Flash White offers a lightning-fast look, while Competition Black embodies confidence and courage.
