iQOO is preparing to launch its new smartphone, the iQOO 15, on October 20th. This will be the first phone in the series to feature the new Snapdragon 8E5 chipset. Official information hasn't been released yet, but renowned tipster Digital Chat Station (DCS) recently shared some key specifications.
According to leaked reports, the iQOO 15 will be offered in four color options—Feather Purple, Field Green, Frost Silver, and Deep Space Gray. In terms of design, the phone will feature a premium look, featuring flat edges and a symmetrical dual speaker design.
Speaking of the display, it will feature a 6.85-inch 2K Samsung flat screen with a 144 Hz refresh rate. To improve the gaming and multimedia experience, the company has incorporated its own Q3 chip.
Along with performance, the battery life has also been strengthened. The phone will be equipped with a large 7000mAh battery that supports both 100W wired charging and wireless charging. This makes this series even more special, as such a powerful battery is not common in this range.
Talking about the camera setup, it has a 50MP IMX9 main sensor, a 50MP ultra-wide camera, and a 50MP IMX8 periscope lens. This setup could prove to be an attractive option for photography enthusiasts.
For security and user experience, the phone has an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor, a waterproof body, and an X-axis motor (091640), which makes vibration feedback smoother.
