Let's start with the design—the Nova 14i features a large LCD screen measuring approximately 6.95 inches with a resolution of 2376 × 1080 pixels, a refresh rate of 90 Hz, and a touch sampling rate of 270 Hz. However, Huawei hasn't yet shared official brightness information.
This phone comes with thick bezels, so it's difficult to call it "compact." The dimensions are reported to be approximately 6.77 × 3.15 × 0.35 inches, and it weighs approximately 216 grams.
For performance, the Nova 14i is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 chipset. It will be available in 8GB of RAM and 128GB/256GB storage variants. There's a fingerprint scanner on the side.
The camera setup has two lenses on the rear—a 50MP f/1.8 primary camera and a 2MP depth sensor. For selfies, there's an 8MP f/2.0 front camera housed in a large notch.
The highlight of this model is its 7,000 mAh battery. Huawei claims it can last up to 26 hours of video playback and 31 hours of audio playback. Charging specifications include support for 22.5W wired charging.
Specifications for the Nova 14i include EMUI 14.2 (based on Android). The phone also features an "X" shortcut key. The body is approximately 8.9 mm thick.
As for its India launch, Huawei has not yet officially shared the Nova 14i's international launch and pricing. Currently, it's mostly available in China.
