Design and Display

The Huawei Mate 70 Air, like its name suggests, will carry the "Air Series" concept, focusing on a lightweight and slim design. While its exact thickness has not yet been revealed, it is expected to be one of Huawei's slimmest phones yet.

The phone is expected to feature a 6.9-inch OLED display with a resolution of 1920x1200 pixels. Thin bezels surround the screen and a large, family-style circular camera module, which has become a hallmark of the Mate series. The camera module will feature the XMAGE logo and a strip flash in the center, highlighting Huawei's unique imaging technology.

Performance and Configuration

Although Huawei has not yet shared processor details, the phone will run on HarmonyOS 5.1. It will be available in two variants—256GB and 512GB—with 12GB of RAM. In terms of performance, the phone appears to be targeting the mid-to-high-end segment.

Battery and Charging

The phone will support 66W fast charging, allowing for faster charging. Huawei claims that its battery optimization will perform even better with the new HarmonyOS system.

The Huawei Mate 70 Air will be launched in three beautiful color variants—Yaojin Black, Yuyi White, and Jinsi Yinjin. Reports suggest it could be priced between 3,000 and 4,000 yuan (approximately ₹35,000 to ₹45,000).

If the leaks prove accurate, the Huawei Mate 70 Air could become China's first "Air Series" phone, promising a premium experience with a lightweight design.
