Vivo has officially announced that its new operating system, OriginOS 6, is launching globally. The company stated that the global event for this system will be held on October 15th. Previously, Vivo and iQOO's overseas models were using FuntouchOS, the latest version of which was FuntouchOS 15. Now, the company is completely transitioning to OriginOS, ensuring overseas users receive the same experience as in China.
OriginOS 6 has introduced several new features. Its most interesting feature is "Shake-to-Group Sharing." While previously, "Touch-to-Share" was used to share files, now a group can be created by simply shaking the phone, and even large files can be shared in a matter of seconds. Notably, this feature will also support cross-brand sharing, meaning files can be easily transferred between phones from different companies.
Additionally, the new system will also improve the camera experience. Live Photos has been added with an AI Erasure feature, allowing users to easily remove unwanted people or objects from photos. This will result in clean and focused shots.
Another new feature is Small V Memory, which allows users to record personal notes or questions. This system will remember them and provide better understanding and answers. This will make the phone feel more like a smart assistant than just a device.

Vivo claims that OriginOS 6 will bring smoother and smarter performance. Following its launch, the update will gradually roll out to overseas Vivo and iQOO models. Older models are also expected to receive the upgrade.
It will be interesting to see what other surprises Vivo brings at the launch event on October 15th.
