OPPO K13 Turbo Pro Sample Pic |
OPPO is known for always offering something new and different in its K series. The previously launched OPPO K13 Turbo Pro series first created a buzz in the mobile gaming world by introducing a built-in active cooling fan.
And now, according to recent leaks from Digital Chat Station, the company is working on its next-generation OPPO K15 series, which could feature several significant changes.
According to reports, a new 6.5X mid-screen version is being considered for the OPPO K15 series. Additionally, its regular large-screen high-end version is currently undergoing internal testing, using the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 processor. This chipset is said to deliver a performance score of around 340W+, which is considered slightly better than the 330W± score of the previous generation Snapdragon 8 Elite.
The previous model, the OPPO K13 Turbo Pro, featured high-end features like the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 processor, LPDDR5X RAM, and UFS 4.0 storage. It also featured a 6.8-inch LTPS OLED display, a 7000 mAh battery, 80 W fast charging, and an IPX9/IPX8/IPX6 waterproof rating.
For this reason, it's expected that the new OPPO K15 series will also bring significant upgrades in terms of design and performance. While there's no official word from the company regarding pricing and launch date, it's believed it will be positioned in the mid- to high-end segment.
All eyes are currently on the official announcement of this series, which could happen in the coming weeks.
