Honor has created a stir in the slim flagship segment by launching its new premium smartphone, the Magic8 Pro Air, at the beginning of 2026. With a thickness of just 6.1 mm and a weight of 155 grams, this phone has become one of the thinnest and lightest flagship phones not only for Honor but in the entire industry. Importantly, despite its slim profile, it doesn't compromise on any key features.
The phone features a 6.31-inch 1.5K LTPO OLED display with equally thin bezels on all sides and a 120 Hz refresh rate. HDR brightness of up to 6000 nits and Honor's advanced eye-protection features make it comfortable for extended use. For security, it also includes a 3D ultrasonic fingerprint sensor.
In terms of performance, the Magic8 Pro Air stands firmly at the flagship level. It is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9500 (3 nm) chipset, paired with LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.1 storage. This combination can easily handle demanding apps, gaming, and AI tasks.
The most surprising feature is its 5500 mAh battery, a testament to Honor's engineering prowess in such a thin body. It supports 80W wired and 50W wireless charging and comes with an IP68/IP69 rating.
