Vivo is launching its new flagship phone, the Vivo X300 Series, in India on December 2nd at 12 noon. The company has officially confirmed this. Following the launch, sales will begin on December 10th at Flipkart, Amazon, and Vivo stores.
The most notable feature this time is that the Vivo X300 (base model) coming to India will feature a new red color option, which will not be available in any other country. This color will be exclusive to India.
This red variant was first showcased in a teaser released on Vivo India's X handle. In the video, the phone's back panel appears to have a red leather finish, while the frame and camera rings are gray.
This color combination gives the phone a distinct and premium look. Vivo has teased the compact X300 by saying, "The compact X300 has never looked this powerful," which clearly suggests the company is introducing this color as a special edition for India.
Now, let's talk about its camera setup. The Vivo X300 features a 200MP Samsung HPB main camera, a 50MP ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 50MP LYT602 periscope telephoto lens with telemacro support. There's a 50MP front camera. Flipkart's and Amazon's landing page listings highlight its Telephoto Birds Shot Mode and the X300 Photography Kit.
The X300 Pro features a 50MP LYT828 main camera, a 50MP ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 200MP HPB periscope telephoto lens. The company will also offer a Photographer Kit with this model, which includes a special case and a ZEISS 2.35x Telephoto Extender.
Both phones are powered by the Dimensity 9500 chipset and run on the latest OriginOS 6 (Android 16). Vivo has also added new features like Flip Cards, One-Tap Transfer, and Office Kit.
