Oppo is once again bringing something new to its fans. The company will soon launch a special limited edition of its popular smartphone—the OPPO Reno 14F 5G Star Wars Edition. As the name suggests, this phone will be inspired by the Star Wars universe. According to reports, the smartphone will be first introduced in Mexico on November 15th, after which it may be launched in other countries as well.
This special edition will have a completely unique design. Oppo has designed it based on the famous character Darth Vader and the Death Star. The image of Darth Vader will be seen on the back panel of the phone, making it distinct from other smartphones. The company has also designed its box to be special, including a Star Wars collector's box, a Death Star stand, and some limited accessories.
In terms of features, this Star Wars Edition will have the same specifications as the Reno 14F 5G. The phone features a 6.83-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display with a 120 Hz refresh rate and 1400 nits peak brightness. The display also has an in-display fingerprint sensor.
As for the processor, it features a Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 chipset, which is suitable for gaming and multitasking with smooth performance. It comes with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. The phone features a 4290 mm² VC heat dissipation system that keeps the device cool during long gaming sessions.
The camera setup includes a 50-megapixel Sony IMX882 primary sensor, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens, and a 2-megapixel macro lens. A 32-megapixel front camera is available for selfies and video calling.
The phone is powered by a large 6000 mAh battery with support for 45 W fast charging. Furthermore, the phone comes with IP66, IP68, and IP69 ratings, providing improved water and dust resistance.
