RedMagic has solidified its reputation as a gaming smartphone, and now the company is launching its next-level phone, the RedMagic 11 Pro. This phone will launch on October 17th, and interesting details about its battery performance and design have already been revealed.
Battery Performance – 8000mAh Power
The RedMagic 11 Pro series is being called "the beginning of the 8000mAh era." This phone boasts the largest battery in a flagship smartphone to date. According to the company, this device will be a great fit for long-term gamers.
Testing showed that a large open-world mobile game played continuously for over 7 hours at 60FPS Ultra-quality. In high-frame rate games like CrossFire – Gun King, the phone lasted 11 hours at 144FPS.
Additionally, a national MOBA game delivered over 14 hours of battery life at 120FPS Ultra-quality. This performance demonstrates RedMagic's extensive battery optimization.
Charging and Cooling Technology
The RedMagic 11 Pro series features its first 80W wireless charging. The RedMagic 11 Pro+ also supports 120W wired fast charging. Despite its large battery, the phone charges quickly, a significant advantage for gamers.
The phone features a new "Pulsating Water Cooling Engine," which uses the same cooling fluid used in AI servers. It's accompanied by a 24,000rpm active cooling fan and a Waterfall Air Duct 3.0 system, which helps keep the phone cool even during long gaming sessions.
Underwater Unboxing and Design
RedMagic General Manager Jiang Chao (James) unboxed the phone underwater, a unique way to showcase its IPX8 waterproof certification. During the unboxing, he turned on the phone and demonstrated underwater gameplay, proving that the phone's durability is as strong as its performance.
