Honor is preparing to launch its new smartphone series, the Honor Magic 8 Series, in India soon. Reports suggest the company may introduce this series by October 15, 2025. Ahead of the launch, several details regarding its design and specifications have surfaced online.
This new Honor lineup is generating buzz for its camera and display quality. The company has always been known for its camera performance, and this time too, the Magic 8 Series is expected to offer something special.
The Honor Magic 8 Series will include two models: the Honor Magic 8 and the Honor Magic 8 Pro. Both phones boast a premium design. According to reports, the Magic 8 Pro will feature a 6.71-inch 1.5K Quad-Curved OLED display, which will be visually striking. The Magic 8 will feature a 6.5-inch 1.5K Flat OLED screen. If you consider a 6.6-inch screen to be small and a 6.8-inch one to be large, this new size could be a balanced option for you.
For performance, both smartphones will feature the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor, which is suitable for high-end performance and gaming. This series also stands out in terms of battery life—the Magic 8 features a 7000 mAh battery, while the Magic 8 Pro features a 7200 mAh battery. This means you can easily get a full day's worth of backup on a single charge.
Regarding the camera department, the Honor Magic 8 Series will feature a 200-megapixel periscope triple camera setup with an upgraded sensor. The company claims its imaging quality will be the best in its segment. Some early samples are already going viral on social media.
Regarding pricing, the company has not officially announced anything, but according to leaked reports, the Honor Magic 8 Series could start at around ₹42,999.
