Realme has finally confirmed that its next flagship series, the Realme GT8 and GT8 Pro, will launch in October 2025. Xu Qi, the company's vice president, stated that the GT8 Pro can be called a "true flagship," as it will feature significant changes from design to performance.

A leaked hands-on video clearly shows the phone's rear design. It features a large, round camera module on the top left, giving it a premium look. The phone will come with a metal mid-frame and an AG glass or plain leather back cover. It will also be fully waterproof with an IP68/69 rating.

The Realme GT8 Pro will feature a 6.78-inch 2K flat display, co-developed by Samsung and BOE. This screen will come with a 120Hz adaptive refresh rate, 4500 nit brightness, and AR anti-reflective glass. To enhance the display experience, it will also feature 1920 Hz high-frequency PWM dimming.

For performance, it will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 Extreme Edition chipset. This processor will be paired with UFS 4.1 storage and LPDDR5X RAM, making the phone ready for high-end gaming and multitasking.

Speaking of the camera setup, it will feature a triple camera configuration:

  • 50MP Sony LYT-808 main sensor (with OIS + EIS support)
  • 200MP Samsung HP5 periscope telephoto lens (3.5X–10X optical and 120X digital zoom)
  • 50MP ultra-wide sensor

For battery, the Realme GT8 Pro will feature a battery of over 7000 mAh, which will support 120 W fast charging and second-generation bypass charging.
