Nubia has launched its new smartphone, Nubia Air, at IFA 2025. This phone is in the news due to its extremely thin and light design. The company has introduced it with just 5.9 mm thickness and weighing about 172 grams. Despite being thin, it has a 5000 mAh battery and strong build quality.
Design and Display
The Nubia Air has a 6.78-inch AMOLED display, which supports 1.5K resolution and a 120 Hz refresh rate. The brightness of the display goes up to 4500 nits, and it also hasGorilla Glass 7i protection. A 20MP selfie camera is provided in the punch-hole cutout on the front.
Camera setup
There is a triple camera setup on the rear panel of the phone, which includes a 50MP main camera, a 2MP depth sensor, and a 0.08MP auxiliary lens. The camera module is designed with a minimalist look that matches the thin frame of the device.
Performance and battery
The device is powered by the Unisoc T8300 processor, which is paired with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. For backup, it has a 5000 mAh battery that supports 33 W fast charging.

Strength and certification
Despite being thin and light, the Nubia Air comes with IP68 and IP69K ratings. That is, this phone will be protected from dust and pressurized hot water jets.
Price and availability
The Nubia Air wasfirst launched in Europe, with a starting price of €250 (about $279). After this, it will also be made available in the markets of Southeast Asia, Latin America, and the Middle East. The phone will be available in Titanium Black, Streamer Black, and Titanium Desert color options.
