Finally, Samsung has passed the National Quality Certification for the battery of its upcoming Galaxy S26 Edge model. The new document shows that the battery used in the phone will have model numbers EB-BS947ABY and EB-BS947ABE. Its rated capacity is said to be 4078 mAh, while normally its value can be around 4200 mAh.
This battery is based on lithium-ion (Li-ion) technology. It has also been discussed in the leak that Samsung can use new silicon-carbon anode technology this time, which will improve the energy density and charging efficiency of the battery. If this happens, then a long backup and fast charging speed can be seen.
Now talking about performance, the Galaxy S26 Edge has also been spotted on Geekbench recently. Here this phone appeared with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 processor. In this chipset, 2 cores work at 4.74 GHz and 6 cores at 3.63 GHz. For graphics, it has an Adreno 840 GPU.
According to the benchmark score, the Galaxy S26 Edge has scored 3393 in single-core and 11515 in multi-core. This indicates that this device will give very fast and powerful performance in the coming time. The phone has been recorded in the testing listing with 12GB of RAM and Android 16.

Not much information has been received about the design yet, but since it is part of the "Edge" series, a curved display and premium build can be expected in it.
